Team Up in Oncoplastics, American Society of Breast Surgeons- April 2011

Jane O’Brien attended the The American Society of Breast Surgeons Oncoplastics Course, “Team Up in Oncoplastic Surgery” in Washington DC in April 2011. This course provided further valuable training for Jane in techniques and strategies for delivering the full spectrum of oncoplastic breast cancer surgery. The course content was designed to emphasize collaborative principles and techniques for optimal oncoplastic resection. Course moderators described and demonstrated their solutions to the technical challenges of individual cases. Moderators included internationally reknown plastic surgeons Scott Spear and Pat Maxwell and breast surgeon Mel Silverstein.
